My dear grandma, GG as she is now know as, came to visit last week! What a treat! She got to pick up kids from school, see just about all her grand and great grand kids and see a house that we thought about buying! She was a busy lady and we were thrilled to have her for 2 weeks almost all to ourselves!! She so delighted in seeing Hays make his way over the entire house and very graciously allowed my other 2 to commandeer her walker....I mean seriously, that's the best toy ever!!

Lost at sea
Do you ever have those moments in your life, say like about a 3 year period of time, where you feel absolutely lost. The best metaphor I can think of is that Chris and I are in this tiny little dingy, deep in the middle of the ocean. We are lost. We keep looking up to the North Star (our reference to Christ) as we are severally dehydrated and have a pretty bad sunburn. I feel a little nauseous and wondering when the bobbing up and down will stop. I mean, it's been 3 years. We are as lost as ever but I believe/trust in my precious Savior that he will one day make the waves stop, as he's done in the past. I believe/trust that my Jesus will provide a soothing salve to heal the wounds over the past few years. I believe/trust that God Almighty has provided living water for which I can drink and be full.

Hadleigh is 4 1/2!!
Sweet baby girl just wanted to celebrate. For 2 days we sang happy birthday as she requested. Every time we ate cupcakes. Glad they are gone! ;) But i love her and would do whatever she wanted to make her feel special and loved. Even if it was for 2 days! ;)
